DESCRIPTION:Throughout the semester, students read several plays dealing with social problems and then researched, wrote, and created their own work of devised theater. Their plays explore the political climate in the United States, tackling topics including reproductive rights, gun violence, and political conversations. In addition to deepening their understanding of how theater can examine current events and social change, students had the opportunity to learn about theater design and arts management as they bring their works to life. &ldquo;Fractures&rdquo; will be fully produced with lights and sound.
