11/22/2019 - This fall, six St. John Fisher College students joined by Arien Rozelle, assistant professor in the Department of Media and Communication, attended the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) International Conference, held in San Diego, California.

Students, Faculty Attend Biology Conference Drs. Daryl Hurd, Ed Freeman, Janet Lighthouse, and Todd Camenisch attended the conference with seven undergraduate students.

11/21/2019 - Faculty members and students from St. John Fisher College were among the attendees at the first-ever Developmental Biology New York Conference, held at Ithaca College this fall.

11/21/2019 - It’s a typical scene in the dining hall after late afternoon practices: Fisher student-athletes gathering with teammates to enjoy dinner together, along with some down time. What is not so typical is seeing a four-legged member of the team dining right alongside them.

11/21/2019 - Libby Pinti, a 1985 St. John Fisher College graduate, today serves the College as associate director of development and director of parent engagement. As the parent of college students, she saw an opportunity for Fisher parents and families to be involved beyond Move-In Day and Commencement.

11/20/2019 - The APA Monitor, a magazine produced by the American Psychological Association, recently profiled a community-engaged learning project designed by Drs. Kimberly McClure Brenchley, associate professor of psychology, and Lynn Donahue, assistant director of the Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.

11/18/2019 - Senior marketing students Rebecca Brant and Nicolette Pecor attended the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Florida State University. Ron Sicker, visiting assistant professor of practice, accompanied the students as he has done for the last three years.

Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign Exceeds Goal The Basilian motto, Teach Me Goodness, Discipilne, and Knowledge is written on the exterior of Golisano Gateway.

11/15/2019 - The annual Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal raising $28,537.91 for St. John Fisher College. The campaign, which ran from Monday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Nov. 4, is a coordinated effort to encourage Fisher employees to support the College’s annual fund.

Grocery Run Helps Stock Food Pantry Junior Rachel Schaefer and her mother were among members of the Fisher family who participated in the Grocery Run.

11/13/2019 - This fall, St. John Fisher College students participated in the East Avenue Grocery Run, an annual 5K run and walk that supports local organizations who address food insecurity in the community. Fisher students ran to support the College’s Food Pantry, a place where members of the College community facing food insecurity have access to food, free of charge.

11/13/2019 - In October, members of the Computer Science Club participated in the CyberSEED 2019 Cyber Security Competition and Conference. This was the first time Fisher students participated in a competition of this magnitude, where typical competitors represent schools like MIT, John Hopkins University, and Georgia Tech.
