Business Student Honored by Rochester Ethics Foundation

Kelly Vanderwall ’19, a student in the School of Business at St. John Fisher College, was recently announced as a recipient of the Martin F. Palumbos Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation Scholarship.

Vanderwall, a senior double majoring in marketing and finance and minoring in sport management, was selected for the $1,500 scholarship for her demonstration of exceptional integrity and ethics as it pertains to business education.

After transferring to Fisher in the fall of her junior year, Vanderwall became an active member of campus. She joined the rowing team, is vice president of professional development for Fisher’s chapter of the American Marketing Association, and serves on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, all while working part-time at Wegmans.

Vanderwall also holds an internship position in the Consumer Insights Department at Wegmans and has completed past internships at 4 Performance and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career related to analytics and would like to go to graduate school to obtain either an MBA or master’s degree in data science.
