Cardinals Look to Take Back the Courage Bowl Win in 2018

September 13, 2018

An annual tradition that has become one of Division III’s most sought after football games, the 2018 Courage Bowl will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at Bob Boozer Field at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium at the College of Brockport. This year, Fisher’s team looks to reclaim their victory and bring back their winning streak.

Fisher football players enter the field with honorary coaches from Camp Good Days and Special Times.

Fisher will compete with Brockport in a gridiron showdown that’s more than just a game. The contest benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, and gives the children it serves an opportunity to be a part of an athletic event, both on the field with the football teams and on the sidelines with the cheerleaders.

Camp Good Days and Special Times is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization providing children facing cancer or other childhood diseases with the opportunity to have a shared residential camping experience. With the support from Courage Bowl and other events, Camp Good Days has reached more than 45,000 children from 22 states and 29 counties. All programs are free of charge to campers and their families.

Tickets, which are $5, can be purchased online until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, or at the gate on game day.
