Seeking #fisher2019 Nominations for Countdown to Commencement Video Series

November 13, 2018

With the Commencement clock already ticking, St. John Fisher College is seeking nominations for the 2019 Countdown to Commencement project – an annual video series that features members of the graduating class who have made an impact during their time on campus.

Whether they have held a leadership position in a club or organization, led their team to post-season play, presented their research at a national conference, participated in multiple service initiatives, or made an impact in their cohort or classroom, the legacy that students leave in their short time at Fisher is cause for celebration.

“This series is a way for us to recognize our students and share their stories with a wider audience to show all of the opportunities that are within reach to every Fisher student who seeks them,” said Kate Torok, director of marketing and communications.

Now in its ninth year, the Countdown to Commencement series has featured more than 90 students for their outstanding accomplishments as members of the Fisher community.

The nomination form is now available and nominations will be accepted until Tuesday, Nov. 20.
