Academic Scholarship

Hugh Lambert, visiting assistant professor of practice in the Accounting Department, recently published an article in the CPA Journal. Read More: Lambert Publishes in CPA Journal

Dr. Mike Wischnowski, dean of the School, delivered the keynote address, “Personal Brand,” and Dr. Shannon Cleverley-Thompson also presented a session on “Storytelling as a Leadership Practice” to school administrators during the Central New York Region Leadership Symposium. Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Tim Madigan guest-edited the current issue of Philosophy Now magazine, which commemorates the 200th anniversary of the publication of Frankenstein, and its connection to philosophy. Read More: For Madigan, Frankenstein Lives!

Highlights

The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Program recently volunteered at the Mary Cariola “Walking on Sunshine” event. There were 15 volunteers from the College who helped the organization at its largest fundraising event. Read More: Fisher Students Help Spread “Sunshine”

Dr. Monica Hodis, associate professor of marketing and faculty advisor of the St. John Fisher College American Marketing Association, has been invited to join the American Marketing Association Collegiate Chapters Council (AMA CCC). Read More: Hodis Tapped to Join AMA Chapters Council

Fisher alumna Laura Fahrenthold recently published the memoir, The Pink Steering Wheel Chronicles, a moving portrait of life told with unflinching honesty about marriage, motherhood, and mourning after the sudden death of her husband. Read More: Alumna Publishes Memoir
