The CCC is a council of faculty volunteers who act as liaisons between the interests of the AMA student membership, its collegiate chapter faculty advisors, and the American Marketing Association’s Support Center.

Hodis was nominated by the Immediate Past President, Brian Vander Schee, from Aurora University. Chapters from each state have a dedicated representative. Faculty advisors from those chapters that are successful, are nominated to three-year terms and act as representatives for schools from several states.

The 12-member council meets face-to-face three times per year in various locations across the country. Along with participating in these meetings, Hodis and council member Andrew Dahl, University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, will be responsible for overseeing the various sales competitions that take place at the AMA International Collegiate Conference each year, including the Perfect Pitch, Sales Roleplay, and Outbound Sales competitions.

“Over the past eight years, as an advisor, mentor, and judge, I have seen first-hand the difference collegiate AMA makes in the lives and careers of marketing students,” said Hodis. “I look forward to increasing my involvement and service in this valuable organization over the three years of my CCC term. It is my hope that I can be an effective advocate for small chapter schools on the Council.”
