Students Honored by Small Business Council of Rochester
The Small Business Council of Rochester (SBC) selected St. John Fisher College students Ermir Beha ’19 and Catherine Meteyer ’19 as recipients of the annual Renee Tschetter Scholarship.
They were formally honored with the scholarship during SBC’s annual Golf Scramble at Eagle Vale Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 13.
Beha is a senior accounting major from West Henrietta, New York. He is a First Generation Scholar and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. He most recently worked as a tax intern at The Bonadio Group during the 2017 tax season and is an active volunteer for Habitat For Humanity.
A senior from Penfield, New York, Meteyer is enrolled in the dual degree program to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, all while obtaining a minor in Spanish. Meteyer is actively engaged on campus through the Student Conduct Committee, Senate representation, and Alpha Mu Gamma. She is preparing to take the LSAT as she plans to go to law school to pursue a career in corporate law.
