Reintroducing TimelyCare: Free 24/7 Telehealth Care Available to All Fisher Students

What is free, available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, and designed to help you take care of you? Meet TimelyCare, formerly known as FisherCare, a service Fisher is now offering to all students.

With TimelyCare, students can talk to a licensed provider from their smartphone or any web-enabled device, anywhere in the United States, day or night, at no cost. Providers are available to offer medical and mental health support via phone or secure video visits.

“We are very happy to offer this platform again this year and even more pleased that all students can access these services,” said Rebecca Kieffer, director of the Health and Wellness Center. “Students can expect that the TimelyCare platform will be an extension of our services during this academic year.”

Students can create an account using their Fisher email address by visiting timelycare.com/sjfc. Through TimelyCare, they will have access to:

  • Medical Care: 24/7, on-demand, or scheduled access to a medical provider that can treat a wide range of common illnesses like cold and flu, sinus infection, allergies, and more
  • TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand access to a mental health professional to talk about anything at anytime
  • Scheduled counseling services: this is a new addition to the services provided this year. Students can connect with the same counselor for up to 12 sessions of counseling.
  • Group Sessions: Weekly Guided Meditation and Yoga Group Sessions, plus specialized sessions throughout the year.
