03/19/2018 - St. John Fisher College legend Phil Kahler passed away on Saturday, March 17, at the age of 84. He leaves behind his wife, Fran, whom he married in 1955, and their loving daughter, Jill.

Track and Field’s VanMarter Captures National Championship St. John Fisher College student-athlete Mark VanMarter won the track and field national championship in long jump.

03/17/2018 - The first day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships brought something incredibly special to St. John Fisher College: an individual national championship. Senior Mark VanMarter ’18 claimed the national championship honor in the long jump event; a first-ever in Fisher track and field history.

03/14/2018 - For the last two years, pitcher Lindsey Thayer has helped the St. John Fisher College softball team make back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division III World Series, where, in 2017, they finished second in the country. But before she found success on the Cardinals’ softball diamond, she found herself immersed in a family that bonded over learning the ins and outs of the game.

03/13/2018 - On Friday, Feb. 23, members of the St. John Fisher College chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) attended the fifth annual Rochester Collegiate Conference. 03/12/2018 - As part of the 2018 Public Relations Student Society of America’s Bateman Case Study Competition, the St. John Fisher College team, comprised of five students within the Department of Media and Communication, raised awareness about the need for safe and effective treatment options for children living with cancer in America.
