Meet Matha Thornton, Fisher’s New Student Affairs Leader Matha Thornton

02/15/2018 - At 18, Matha Thornton stepped on the campus of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as a first generation college student to study political science. While there, she served as a resident assistant, which offered her a glimpse of life in student affairs. And after that, she never really left college.

02/14/2018 - This semester, Dr. Anna Ratka and Dr. Todd Camenisch joined the faculty at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College. Ratka will serve as the associate dean for academic affairs and Camenisch has been appointed chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

02/08/2018 - The Staff Recognition Committee is seeking nominations for the College’s annual staff awards through Friday, March 16. The goal of the program is to showcase staff accomplishments, as well as recognize characteristics including integrity, Fisher spirit, genuineness, professional/personal ethics, self-discipline, and initiative.

02/07/2018 - After a year of planning, St. John Fisher College students are ready to take the floor for the 2018 Teddi Dance for Love. A 24-hour dance-a-thon that has raised more than $1 million for Camp Good Days and Special Times, the event will be held from 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 through 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17.
