
04/19/2018 - Students in the St. John Fisher College Sport Management program joined together with parents, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals for the Annual Sport Management Banquet on Friday, April 6 at Oak Hill Country Club. The celebration included recognition of student accomplishments and featured a panel of industry experts discussing the future of sports in Rochester.

04/18/2018 - Dan Kane, an investigative journalist at The News & Observer of Raleigh, North Carolina, was recently honored by The Drake Group, an organization committed to defending academic integrity in higher education. Kane was honored as the 2018 recipient of the Drake Hero Award, given during the group’s Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 13.

04/18/2018 - Dr. Tim Madigan, professor and chair of the Department of Philosophy and Classical Studies, co-edited a recently published book in collaboration with Dr. Tim Delaney, professor and department chair of sociology at the State University of New York at Oswego.

04/18/2018 - St. John Fisher College will posthumously award the rank of full professor to the late Dr. Jack Brown, who served as associate professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.

04/17/2018 - The Upsilon Rho chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society held its 2018 Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, March 28. The event included a welcome from the chair of the Biology Department, Dr. Daryl Hurd, and an introduction by the chapter advisor, Dr. Noveera Ahmed.

04/17/2018 - Dr. Randall Curren, professor of philosophy at the University of Rochester, will discuss the ethical heart of sustainability during the annual Joseph A. Trovato Lecture, sponsored by the Ethics and Sustainability Minor programs at St. John Fisher College. The lecture is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, in Basil 135.

04/17/2018 - For the eighth consecutive year, the St. John Fisher College men’s golf team claimed the Empire 8 Championship after the Cardinals posted a team score of 636 (+68) over the weekend at the Empire 8 Spring Championship at the par-71, 6,551-yard Hershey County Club East Course.

04/16/2018 - On a chilly February evening, a small group of St. John Fisher College students found themselves around a cozy table, eating pizza and wings and sharing details about their majors, hometowns, and experiences at the College. They weren’t gathered in the dining hall, but instead the kitchen of President and Mrs. Rooney.
