04/11/2018 - The 2018 Fast Forward Film Festival will feature two films created by students from St. John Fisher College. Films will be screened on Friday, April 13, at The Little Theatre, and winners will be announced during the Festival Gala on Saturday, April 14, at the George Eastman Museum.

04/10/2018 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business inducted 28 students into Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international honor society for exceptional business students and scholars, during a formal ceremony held on Friday, April 6.

04/09/2018 - Twelve hours and countless laps equaled a $20,000 fundraising feat for the 16th annual Relay for Life at St. John Fisher College. Sponsored by Colleges Against Cancer (CAC), the 12-hour walkathon supports the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge, and this year, students busted their fundraising goal while honoring those who have been touched by cancer.

04/09/2018 - On Wednesday, April 4, His Eminence Joseph Cardinal Tobin, archbishop of Newark, New Jersey, delivered a lecture at St. John Fisher College, exploring the ministry of Pope Francis.

04/09/2018 - St. John Fisher College student Gabriella Kielbasinski is on a mission to empower her peers. With the rise of gender equality movements across the country, she has organized FIS(HER), a one-day workshop aimed at providing women with the strategies and skills needed to combat gender-based obstacles. The workshop, which features four mini topic sessions, is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 9, in Basil 135.

04/05/2018 - Just in time for spring cleaning, dozens of student volunteers from St. John Fisher College spent two Saturdays in March at four schools in the Rochester City School District, priming, painting, and sprucing up the facilities, during the annual Color the Roc program.

04/05/2018 - St. John Fisher College student Joseph Reyes ’19 believes in doing the right thing. As a Service Scholar, he’s logged dozens of hours volunteering his time to local community agencies. But, when Hurricane Maria caused devastation in Puerto Rico, leaving thousands without their homes and basic items essential for living, community service took a deeper, more personal meaning for him.

04/04/2018 - On Saturday, March 17, the St. John Fisher College Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education held a hooding and awards ceremony for graduates of the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership program at Iona College, one of two extension sites where the program is offered.
