Drive Collects 324 Hospitality Kits for Area Organizations

The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs will deliver 324 hospitality kits to area organizations, thanks to its 8th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospitality Kit Drive.

 Lavery Library staff and students in the First Generation Scholars program helped pack items for the hospitality kits.

Members of the campus community donated 1,644 items during the month-long drive, including toiletries, cleaning, and household products. Lavery Library staff and students in the First Generation Scholars program helped pack the items.

The kits will be distributed to Foundations of Hope Ministries, St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center, RAIHN, Saint’s Place, Mary’s Place, Sojourner House, and Bethany House.
