Rochester Art Club Members Show Work

Select members of the Rochester Art Club will host an exhibit at the Patricia O’Keefe Ross Gallery, located in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center at St. John Fisher College.

The juried show will run from Thursday, Feb. 1 through Wednesday, Feb. 28. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.

One of the oldest continuously active art groups in the United States, the Rochester Art Club includes 170 members who work in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, drawing, and sculpture. Through exhibits and outreach efforts, the organization aims to advance the artistic growth of its membership and contribute to the cultural enrichment of the community. The show’s juror, Alan Singer, is a professor of art at the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a painter, printmaker, illustrator, writer, and lecturer.
