Celebrate Earth Week with the Center for Sustainability
The week of Monday, April 19 marks the annual observance of Earth Week and the Center for Sustainability and Sustainability Club are teaming up to bring you some fun and informative events to help connect you to the Earth.
Keep an eye out for emails all week centered around four themes: nature, climate justice, food, and conscious consumerism. The week also features a series of events that promote sustainability, responsible recycling, and an exploration of the nature around us.

E-Scrap for Camp
Wednesday, April 21
Noon to 1 p.m.
Bring your e-scrap to ISHS 116 to drop off for e-scrap for camp. Don’t forget to check the acceptable materials list! Email sustainability@sjfc.edu if you need a drop-off appointment.
Earth Day Upcycle Event
Thursday, April 22
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Upcycling t-shirts and masks in the Campus Center Atrium. Bring a clean shirt and add a new decoration!
Earth Day at Wynd's Woods
Thursday, April 22
2 to 3 p.m.
Join us for a walk-in Wynd’s Woods and the former golf course. Meet at the Dugan Yard entrance and we’ll see what wildlife we can find!
Fisher Goes Green Fair
Saturday, April 24
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come out to the LeChase Commons to meet the birds from Wild Wings, upcycle a climate change t-shirt, plant some herbs, and learn more about nature!
