
07/10/2018 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced that St. John Fisher College will receive $145,000 through the Higher Education Capital (HECap) Matching Grant program. The funds will be used to furnish and equip the Upper Quad Residence Hall, a new living space expected to open in fall 2019.

07/09/2018 - Dr. Alexander DeLucenay ’06, ’10 (Pharm.D.), associate professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was selected as the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York’s (PSSNY) 2018 Distinguished Young Pharmacist. DeLucenay was formally honored during a banquet and award ceremony as part of PSSNY’s annual convention.

07/05/2018 - Rising junior Liga Astra Kalnina, a forward for the St. John Fisher College women’s basketball team, will represent her home country of Latvia in the U20 FIBA Women’s European Championship. She was one of just 12 players selected to the final roster.

07/02/2018 - George Roba ’18, a biology and psychology major, won second place for the John C. Johnson Award for Excellence in Student Research at the national TriBeta Biological Honor Society National Convention.

06/28/2018 - Fisher Dining won a “Be A Star Award” from Compass USA, their parent foodservice management company.

06/27/2018 - A research article co-written by Dr. Bradley Kraft, associate professor of chemistry, was chosen as part of an editorial on undergraduate research at primarily undergraduate institutions.

06/21/2018 - This summer, Fisher students Derek Raux ’19 and Garrett Steiger ’18 will gain experience in the sport industry, thanks in part to the newly launched Student Experiential Learning Fund.

06/20/2018 - For a few weeks each summer, St. John Fisher College goes from college campus to football mecca with the arrival of the Buffalo Bills Training Camp. With its players and coaches, as well as its hundreds of additional personnel, and thousands of fans, it's a transformation. At the center of it all are Dr. Todd Harrison and Patrick Gordon, two members of the Sport Management Department who serve as conduits between the College and the Bills organization.
