Student Earns Second Place for Excellence in Research Award

George Roba ’18, a biology and psychology major, won second place for the John C. Johnson Award for Excellence in Student Research at the national TriBeta Biological Honor Society National Convention.
His Fisher research mentor was Dr. Ed Freeman, associate professor of biology.
Roba attended the convention, which was held at Asilomar State Park in Monterey Bay, California, with fellow students Xayathed Somoulay and Alex Freedenberg.
