
10/02/2020 - The College Consensus recently recognized St. John Fisher College’s School of Business as having one of the best MBA programs in New York.

09/25/2020 - St. John Fisher College graduate Miguel A. Meléndez, Jr. ’08 was recently selected to serve as a Councilmember at Large on the Rochester City Council, filling a seat vacated in August. During a special session on Thursday, Sept. 24, he was formally named to the position and took his Oath of Office. He will serve until December 31, 2021, which coincides with the term for that seat.

09/19/2020 - On September 19, 2019, St. John Fisher College launched a $75 million fundraising campaign to move “Fisher Forward.” Now, one year later, the largest fundraising campaign in the College’s history is climbing steadily toward its ambitious goal.

09/17/2020 - For the fifth consecutive year, St. John Fisher College has been named among the top 400 colleges and universities in the nation, according to The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education.

09/14/2020 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business recently earned High Honors designation by the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international business honor society.

09/09/2020 - St. John Fisher College today announced the creation of the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence thanks to a $1 million gift from Jack ’73 and Donna DePeters. Jack retired from Wegmans Food Markets after 52 accomplished years of service to the food company, and in honor of his retirement, Wegmans matched the $1 million gift in December 2019.

09/07/2020 - Dr. Yvette Conyers ’18 (DNP), an assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Nursing, was selected as a National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) 2020 40 and Under Awardee. Conyers was one of only nine nurses from across the country to be honored by the NBNA.

09/01/2020 - St. John Fisher College was recently recognized among Money.com’s “2020 Best Colleges List.”

08/26/2020 - This summer, students in Dr. Jason Berman’s MBA course, Leading Upstate NY Business Agility, heard first-hand how prominent leaders demonstrated flexibility, resiliency, and agility in navigating the rapid changes brought on by the coronavirus.

08/20/2020 - Dr. Joy Snyder ’18 (Pharm.D.) was recently selected as an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) 2020 Walmart Scholar. Snyder, who is currently completing a fellowship program through the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, is one of only 65 individuals from across the nation to be awarded the scholarship.
