St. John Fisher College Appoints New Dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing Tricia K. Gatlin, Ph.D., RN, CNE

02/28/2020 - After a nationwide search, St. John Fisher College has appointed Tricia K. Gatlin, Ph.D., RN, CNE as the dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing. Gatlin’s appointment follows the retirement of Dr. Dianne Cooney Miner, founding dean of the School. Gatlin will begin at the College on July 1, when Cooney Miner will assume full-time the role of executive director of the College’s Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing.

02/27/2020 - Graduates of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy had the highest pass rates in the state of New York in 2019 on two pharmacy licensure exams: the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MJPE). The pass rates also rank among the top 10 percent nationwide.

02/26/2020 - St. John Fisher College alumnus and Board of Trustees member Victor E. Salerno ’66 has created a legacy of giving at the institution. In recognition of his decades of service to the College, he received the Robert L. Payton Award for Voluntary Service, presented by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) at an awards ceremony, held on Monday, Feb. 24, during the CASE District II Conference.
