
12/11/2019 - Alumni, trustees, and friends of St. John Fisher College were among those honored as Rochester Business Journal Icons.

12/10/2019 - This fall, the Department of Media and Communication selected Johairy Delacruz ’20 as the recipient of the James E. Seward Scholarship. Carrying a $1,000 award, the scholarship honors Jim Seward and his 41 years of college teaching, 29 of which were spent at Fisher. The scholarship was established by former students, friends, and colleagues when he retired in 2011.

12/03/2019 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business honored alumni and faculty during the Excellence in Management Awards luncheon, held on Monday, Dec. 2.

12/02/2019 - Jack Palvino, a member of the pioneer Class of 1955 and 33-year member of the Board of Trustees, recently published a new book, Off the Air.

12/02/2019 - Learn the benefits of mindfulness along with easily applicable ways to release stress and shift perspective during the December First Friday Lecture, led by Dr. Melissa Goodwin, associate professor and chair of the Psychology Department at St. John Fisher College.

11/27/2019 - Members of the Wegmans School of Nursing Class of 2019 exceeded the New York State average in their ability to successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on their first attempt.

11/25/2019 - St. John Fisher College has welcomed seven new members to its Board of Trustees in 2019, including six alumni. They include James R. Reis ’79, William G. Clark ’78, Rebecca Pelino ’86, Matthew J. Rowe ’90, Anthony Lee ’17, Heather Williams ’85, and Rev. George T. Smith, CSB.

11/21/2019 - Libby Pinti, a 1985 St. John Fisher College graduate, today serves the College as associate director of development and director of parent engagement. As the parent of college students, she saw an opportunity for Fisher parents and families to be involved beyond Move-In Day and Commencement.

11/15/2019 - The annual Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal raising $28,537.91 for St. John Fisher College. The campaign, which ran from Monday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Nov. 4, is a coordinated effort to encourage Fisher employees to support the College’s annual fund.

11/09/2019 - Fisher’s campus is home to nearly 40 student-veterans, who range in age from 20 to 54, and study in both Fisher’s undergraduate and graduate programs. On this Veterans Day, hear from some of them about their Fisher experience.
