05/06/2022 - The Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College conferred baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees on more than 300 graduates during its Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 6. The College also bestowed an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters upon Mary Davis, chief executive officer of Special Olympics International.

05/06/2022 - St. John Fisher College will bestow three honors upon members of the community during its 68th Commencement celebrations, to be held across five ceremonies on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center.

Wilson, Jr. School of Education held its annual Education Celebration, recognizing the College’s support for education, educators, and community leadership. Graduating seniors, master and doctoral candidates, and alumni were honored during the event.

04/28/2022 - It’s well-known that St. John Fisher College students and faculty are using iPads across many different academic departments. But, the iFisher: Next Generation Learning Initiative has also put iPads to use in several of Fisher’s athletic programs. Melissa Kuberka, head women’s basketball coach and a recent graduate of Fisher’s MBA program, has seen the value of iPads in the classroom and on the court.

04/28/2022 - The ninth annual Community Engagement Awards Ceremony and Celebration, held on Wednesday, April 27, acknowledged the contributions of more than 200 students who participated in community-engaged learning and service projects at more than 50 organizations in Rochester during the past academic year. Awards honored students, faculty, and community partners, as well as students in the First Generation and Service Scholars programs.
