04/19/2018 - In early April, the St. John Fisher College chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) attended the AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. While the group has attended the conference since 2012, this year, they experienced a first.

04/16/2018 - St. John Fisher College honored two esteemed alumni—John Almeter ’71 and David Pitcher ’78—during the 29th annual Accounting Awards Banquet, held on Thursday, April 5.

04/10/2018 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business inducted 28 students into Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international honor society for exceptional business students and scholars, during a formal ceremony held on Friday, April 6.

03/28/2018 - Twelve students from the St. John Fisher College Investment Club got a taste of the exciting world of business and banking during a Spring Break trip to New York City’s Financial District.

03/21/2018 - The next featured member of the Class of 2018 in the Countdown to Commencement video series is Ikenna Onuoha, who is earning a master’s degree in management from the School of Business. Onuoha was nominated by Matt Lake, international student advisor.

03/21/2018 - Kevin Colafranceschi ’18, a student in the St. John Fisher College School of Business, has been selected to receive the top scholarship from the Rochester Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI). Colafranceschi was among six finalists from local area colleges.

03/14/2018 - For the last two years, pitcher Lindsey Thayer has helped the St. John Fisher College softball team make back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division III World Series, where, in 2017, they finished second in the country. But before she found success on the Cardinals’ softball diamond, she found herself immersed in a family that bonded over learning the ins and outs of the game.

The event was held by the Rochester AMA at the Brook-Lea County Club and featured guest speakers, resume resources, and a networking session and career fair.
