
04/21/2021 - On Friday, April 16, the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics inducted its eighth cohort of students into Pi Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society.

04/16/2021 - For the fifth year, St. John Fisher College will celebrate students excelling with their own independent projects during the annual Student Research and Creative Work Symposium. Undergraduate and graduate student scholars will begin sharing their work on Wednesday, April 28.

04/06/2021 - Dr. Edward Freeman, associate professor of biology at St. John Fisher College, received a $10,000 grant from the Wyman-Potter Foundation to support his research on the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC) on obesity.

01/29/2021 - In summer 2020, St. John Fisher College Honors student Natalie Petruzelli was selected to attend the Mathematical Biosciences Institute (MBI) Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program at The Ohio State University.

01/28/2021 - Dr. Bruce Blaine, professor of mathematics and computer science, won Best Article in the scholarly journal supported by the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR).

01/04/2021 - St. John Fisher College has organized a series of seminars throughout the month of January in response to students interested in looking for ways to continue to connect and engage with each other and members of the faculty and staff through the extended break.

12/07/2020 - Since 2014, Associate Professor Dr. Fernando Ontiveros Llamas and his students have conducted research at the University of Rochester in collaboration with Dr. James McGrath, professor of biomedical engineering.
