
04/30/2019 - Nine undergraduates from the statistics and data science programs presented posters or papers at the UPSTAT 2019 Conference, held on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, at the University of Rochester.

04/22/2019 - Imagine 150 students spread out among a dozen classrooms, talking, debating, and defending their policies. That’s the environment created by EuroSim, an annual student-run simulation of European Union policy-making. In its 33rd year, the four-day international conference was held at St. John Fisher College for the first time in its history this March.

04/12/2019 - The sport management program at St. John Fisher College has been ranked among the best in the country by Bachelor’s Degree Center, a college search website that provides advice, resources, and rankings on traditional and online undergraduate degree programs.

04/11/2019 - St. John Fisher College sport management students, faculty, alumni, and families joined together to honor Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Atlanta United FC on Friday, April 5, at the annual end-of-year celebration at Oak Hill Country Club.

04/08/2019 - Two professors at St. John Fisher College, Dr. Marta Rodríguez-Galán and Dr. Jonathan Millen, will offer a look at their “Bridges Across Generations” project as a part of the First Friday Lecture Series, which begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3, in Cleary Family Auditorium.

04/01/2019 - Through the month of April, reproductions of Frederick Douglass photographs will be on display at the Douglass Auditorium through a partnership between St. John Fisher College and local organization 540WMain Communiversity, located in the Susan B. Anthony District of Downtown Rochester.

04/01/2019 - The St. John Fisher College Master of Public Health program will host a community conversation about the future role and potential of emerging health information technology as a critical resource for addressing patterns of basic health needs for both local and global populations. The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, in the Skalny Welcome Center Board Room.

03/29/2019 - More than 1,000 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral candidates will graduate from St. John Fisher College during its 65th Commencement on Saturday, May 11. Before they cross the stage to receive their diplomas, the College will honor three individuals for their lifetime commitment to advocacy on behalf of the Rochester community.

03/25/2019 - Fisher was the last school Ali Dedicke visited in her college search, and like most students, she says she fell in love with the campus and the people during that visit and knew it was the school for her. The psychology major is our next featured senior in the 2019 Countdown to Commencement series, and she was nominated by Matt Berry, assistant director of freshman admissions.

03/20/2019 - The St. John Fisher College Sport Management program will recognize Atlanta United FC, 2018 Major League Soccer Champions, as the 2019 Sport Organization of the Year during its annual awards ceremony.
