
01/25/2021 - A new partnership between St. John Fisher College, the Rochester Historical Society, and the prestigious Gilder Lehrman Institute for American History will create a scholarship for students interested in pursuing studies in history.

01/21/2021 - Dr. Joy Snyder ’18 (Pharm.D.) was recently tapped to serve as chief pharmacist for the Monroe County Department of Public Health. In this newly created role in the Department, Snyder will help oversee county vaccination efforts and outreach projects that use her skills in both pharmacy and public health.

01/20/2021 - Dr. Lauren Vicker, a longtime professor in the Department of Media and Communication, and Dr. Tim Franz, professor of psychology, have collaborated to write and publish a book, Making Team Projects Work: A Resource for High School and College Educators.

01/04/2021 - St. John Fisher College has organized a series of seminars throughout the month of January in response to students interested in looking for ways to continue to connect and engage with each other and members of the faculty and staff through the extended break.

11/18/2020 - The Sport Management Department at St. John Fisher College is engaging in a strategic partnership with Rochester Pro Soccer Club LLC.

11/16/2020 - The College will become the first in Upstate New York to implement an Apple 1:1 program for all undergraduate students.

11/12/2020 - At one time or another, most dog owners have found themselves chatting up their four-legged friends. They may have even ruffled their fur, and said aloud, “I wonder how much you actually understand?”

11/09/2020 - More than 450 first-generation students currently call St. John Fisher College home. They lead student organizations, conduct research in labs, and volunteer in the community. On Monday, Nov. 9, Fisher joins a nation-wide celebration of first-generation students and the positive impacts they have on campuses across the country.

10/18/2020 - Earlier this fall, TIME’S UP Now commissioned Edelman Data & Intelligence (DxI) to analyze media coverage of the announcement of Senator Kamala Harris as the Democratic vice presidential candidate, and compare it to announcements of candidates Mike Pence and Tim Kaine in 2016.

10/12/2020 - Senior Jacob Vinch, economics major with minors in mathematics and finance, spent his summer conducting research with Dr. Ben Niu, associate professor in the Economics Department, examining the factors that influenced the decisions to enact the state-wide stay-at-home orders as a response to COVID-19.
