03/23/2021 - The transition from college to a full-time job opportunity can be challenging for soon-to-be graduates, especially during a global pandemic. In fact, it’s estimated that the average time for a May 2021 graduate to find a job is nine months. Thankfully, the Center for Career and Academic Planning (CCAP) is here to ease that process for Fisher students.

03/18/2021 - Last week, The PRIMA Group and the Tom Proietti Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) hosted its fifth annual Lead #LikeAGirl series in honor of Women’s History Month. The three-day interactive student-run series empowers St. John Fisher College students in the media and communication fields and provides them with skills to exercise active leadership.

This year-long, paid, on-campus internship offers students interested in gaining a broader understanding of executive leadership and higher education the opportunity to experience it first-hand. 03/01/2021 - Nursing major Alyssa Karl is the next member of the Class of 2021 to be featured in the “Countdown to Commencement” series. Karl was nominated by Vicki Alfieri, assistant director of freshman admissions.

02/28/2021 - Earlier this month, St. John Fisher College’s Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) was recognized as an award-winning chapter for an “Outstanding Marketing Week.” Fisher is one of only eight out of more than 300 AMA chapters across North America to receive this honor.
