
09/17/2019 - Over the summer, a group of Fisher students and staff from the Office of Campus Ministry attended the Interfaith Leadership Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

09/16/2019 - St. John Fisher College will roll out the Cardinal red carpet for more than 1,000 alumni and Fisher families during Alumni and Family Weekend 2019. Scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22, the weekend includes events and activities for the entire campus community.

09/09/2019 - St. John Fisher College earned a place on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges” feature, making the grade for its value, quality educational opportunities, and support of veterans, among other characteristics.

08/19/2019 - The St. John Fisher College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Molly Romano as its next head women’s soccer coach. Romano, who brings a wealth of experience as a coach and as a standout student-athlete, becomes just the sixth women’s soccer coach in the program’s 40-year history.

06/16/2019 - Ben Hockenberry is a man of many interests. Currently a systems librarian, Hockenberry spends his work days performing many duties in Lavery Library. Outside of those duties, he is the advisor of both the Irish Dance Club and Fisher Dance.

06/16/2019 - It’s 6:30 p.m. The account manager and creative director are finalizing a creative brief for a client presentation in the morning. The social media manager is creating content for next week’s client event, while the managing partner is tweaking an analytics report to round out a client project as the semester comes to an end. By 7 p.m., they will all be in the dining hall, back into college student mode before they head to the library for a late night of studying.

05/29/2019 - Jonathan Schott ’02, assistant director of campus ministry, was ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop Salvatore R. Matano during a ceremony held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Saturday, May 25. The following day, at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great, the Fisher alumnus served and preached during his first Mass as deacon.

05/28/2019 - Sophomore Kyle Rollins cemented his legacy in St. John Fisher College track and field history when he won the high jump and became a national champion during the NCCA Outdoor National Championships held Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25.

05/16/2019 - Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, president of St. John Fisher College, joined college and university presidents from across the country in endorsing carbon pricing for its economy-wide approach to lowering greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.

05/11/2019 - More than 700 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students graduated from St. John Fisher College on Saturday, May 11. Their charge: find ways to make the world a better place to live.
