06/16/2019 - It’s 6:30 p.m. The account manager and creative director are finalizing a creative brief for a client presentation in the morning. The social media manager is creating content for next week’s client event, while the managing partner is tweaking an analytics report to round out a client project as the semester comes to an end. By 7 p.m., they will all be in the dining hall, back into college student mode before they head to the library for a late night of studying.

05/29/2019 - Jonathan Schott ’02, assistant director of campus ministry, was ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop Salvatore R. Matano during a ceremony held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Saturday, May 25. The following day, at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great, the Fisher alumnus served and preached during his first Mass as deacon.

Rollins Wins the High Jump National Championship Sophomore Kyle Rollins cemented his legacy in St. John Fisher College track and field history when he won the high jump and became a national champion.

Fisher Joins Call Endorsing Carbon Pricing as Solution to Climate Change During a brief ceremony on Wednesday, May 8, President Rooney, who was joined by Fisher students and faculty and representatives of Our Climate, signed an open letter urging state and federal lawmakers to proactively work to enact legislation that would put a price on carbon emissions and transition to a clean energy economy.

05/16/2019 - Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, president of St. John Fisher College, joined college and university presidents from across the country in endorsing carbon pricing for its economy-wide approach to lowering greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.

05/09/2019 - More than 20 student-athletes at St. John Fisher College will engage in post-season play while their peers cross the stage during the College’s 65th Commencement Ceremony. After a few days of having no close friends to talk to, Homed decided to make a change.
