04/12/2018 - For the third year in a row, members of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy will snip, clip, or shave their hair in an effort to support local patients battling cancer. It all happens during the annual Bald for Bucks event, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at Shooters Bar (1226 Fairport Road, Fairport).

04/09/2018 - Twelve hours and countless laps equaled a $20,000 fundraising feat for the 16th annual Relay for Life at St. John Fisher College. Sponsored by Colleges Against Cancer (CAC), the 12-hour walkathon supports the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge, and this year, students busted their fundraising goal while honoring those who have been touched by cancer.

04/05/2018 - Just in time for spring cleaning, dozens of student volunteers from St. John Fisher College spent two Saturdays in March at four schools in the Rochester City School District, priming, painting, and sprucing up the facilities, during the annual Color the Roc program.

04/05/2018 - St. John Fisher College student Joseph Reyes ’19 believes in doing the right thing. As a Service Scholar, he’s logged dozens of hours volunteering his time to local community agencies. But, when Hurricane Maria caused devastation in Puerto Rico, leaving thousands without their homes and basic items essential for living, community service took a deeper, more personal meaning for him.
