
03/26/2018 - The St. John Fisher College community will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s death with a series of events, SJFCMLK50: Rise Up! Know Justice, Know Peace, planned from Wednesday, April 4 through Tuesday, April 10. All events are free and open to the public.

03/21/2018 - Fr. Dan Horan, OFM, a Franciscan friar of Holy Name Province, will deliver a lecture at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, in the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.

03/21/2018 - Dr. Nathan Kollar, emeritus professor of religious studies at St. John Fisher College, will deliver a talk on aging and spirituality during the April First Friday Lecture.

03/19/2018 - The sixth edition of the textbook coauthored by Dr. Virginia Maier, adjunct associate professor of biology and health professions advisor, was recently released for publication.

03/14/2018 - The next featured senior in our Countdown to Commencement video series is Claire Sauter, a media management major with a minor in ethics. She was nominated by Arien Rozelle, visiting assistant professor in the Department of Media and Communication, and by retired Director of Community Service Sally Vaughan.

03/12/2018 - As part of the 2018 Public Relations Student Society of America’s Bateman Case Study Competition, the St. John Fisher College team, comprised of five students within the Department of Media and Communication, raised awareness about the need for safe and effective treatment options for children living with cancer in America.

03/12/2018 - After a semester of preparation, two St. John Fisher College teams competed in the Regional Mock Trial tournament in Buffalo, New York this past February.

03/09/2018 - On Wednesday, Feb. 7, the Department of Mathematical and Computing Sciences hosted high school students from various schools to compete in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), an exam sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America.

03/08/2018 - A psychology-based service-learning project created by Drs. Kimberly J. McClure Brenchley and Lynn Donahue won the international Action Teaching Award.

03/05/2018 - In January, Dr. Tim Madigan delivered a presentation at Siena College on “Frankenstein Today” to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s novel.
