06/13/2024 - This summer, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University will host the Pharmacy Summer Camp for high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy.
06/06/2024 - This spring, students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy embarked on life-changing trips to Roatan, Honduras and Ipalamwa, Tanzania, where they provided vital health care services to underserved communities. For many of these students, it marked their first experience participating in medical service abroad.
06/05/2024 - Continuing the Wegmans School of Pharmacy’s long-standing tradition of success in matching students to post-graduate experiences, this year, 14 members from the Class of 2024 – from both the on-ground and online pathway - were selected to engage in Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) residencies. The new graduates will spend their residency year training in medical centers, community pharmacies, and health centers around the nation.
05/30/2024 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy was well-represented by students, faculty, and residents at the American Pharmacists Association’s (APhA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, held this spring in Orlando, Florida.
05/21/2024 - Across several ceremonies and celebrations held throughout May, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy honored students and faculty for their commitment and service to the School and profession.
05/13/2024 - This year marked an important milestone for the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, as it graduated members of the first cohort of its online pathway. The School opened its “virtual” doors to the first-ever cohort of online pathway students in fall 2020, also making the program the first online or hybrid Pharm.D. pathway offered by an institution in New York state.
05/12/2024 - Each year, St. John Fisher University honors members of its graduating class who have achieved excellence in their academic studies and co-curricular pursuits.
05/11/2024 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy honored its baccalaureate and doctoral graduates during a Commencement ceremony held on Saturday, May 11. In addition to receiving their diploma, the graduates of the Pharm.D. degree received their doctoral hoods.
04/16/2024 - On Monday, April 15, students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy traveled to Albany to meet with legislators for the state-wide Pharmacy Advocacy Day.
04/15/2024 - St. John Fisher University will bestow honors upon five members of the community during its 70th Commencement celebrations, to be held across seven ceremonies on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center Fieldhouse.
