This primary-care residency program for advanced practice professionals is foundational for any APP working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The asynchronous, evidence-informed program includes current best practices in caring for those with IDD across the lifespan, delivered via expert videos, opportunities for reflection, knowledge checks, case study analysis, and formulation of APP SMART goals and system-level action plans to improve healthcare organization policies, practices, and outcomes for people with IDD.

This program is made available at the institutional level. Residency Program leadership may contact the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at GolisanoInstitute@sjf.edu for more information.
