Learn about how to create a learning environment where everyone feels they belong!

Date: Thursday, January 18, 2024
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Location: DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence

At Fisher, we define inclusive teaching as a self-reflective process of evaluating our own teaching practices with the goal of creating an equitable learning environment that supports all students. Inclusive teaching is not achieved after attending one workshop or reading one book, but rather a thoughtful approach to teaching that is ever evolving through continuous experimentation and reflection. During this session, we’ll start by covering the basics of inclusive teaching and some best practices to get you started. Then, we’ll break into small groups led by faculty facilitators to discuss, listen, and support one another wherever we are in our inclusive teaching journey.
