Presentation by Interfaith Minister Ori-Uhabono Diaz

Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Golisano Gateway, Midlevel

Interfaith Minister Ori-Uhabono Diaz’s work centers on honoring ancestral teachings while supporting contemporary Indigenous and queer communities through ceremony, counsel, and public education. Ori-Uhabu’no guides people through the medicine of the stars—using astrology and celestial symbolism as pathways for healing, storytelling, and reconnection to Indigenous identity. She helps individuals and groups return to their own truth with care and without coercion, believing that intentions and truth can heal both the self and the collective. In classrooms and campus events, she speaks from her own lived experience and spiritual practice rather than representing all Indigenous or Two-Spirit people, inviting students into respectful, reciprocal learning about Indigenous identity, sovereignty, spirituality, language, and the ongoing work of cultural continuity and collective healing.
