Lectures and Mass for Health Care Professions

Fisher will host two lectures and a Mass for Health Care Professions, led by Most Rev. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano.

Date: Saturday, October 28, 2023
Time: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Location: Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great

The afternoon will begin with a plenary address from Cynthia Jones-Nosacek, MD, followed by a keynote presentation by Mike Aquilina in the Wegmans School of Nursing Room 100.

At 4:30 p.m., all are invited to Mass with the Most Rev. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano, where medical professionals and students, including nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and physicians will unite to profess, "Annual Promises as Catholic Medical Professionals." Health care professionals and students are encouraged to wear white coats or nurse scrubs and to present them for a blessing.

A light reception will follow the Mass.
