Time: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Strategic planning is at the top of most boards’ list of responsibilities, yet questions abound over what it should cover, who should be involved, and how to ensure that the work that goes into it will help prepare for informed and timely decision-making in every area from governance to operations. While recognizing that variations in content, format, and overall approach will occur from one organization to another, this workshop will provide information and a chance to talk about applying best practices for board, executive and staff engagement; the planning process; next steps for implementation, and results measurement.

About the Presenter:

The workshop will be facilitated by Carol Love, whose planning experience includes 14 years as a nonprofit consultant, 21 as a CEO, and several as a board chair. Joining her to present insights on practical application of the strategic plan will be Willow Domestic Violence Center CEO Meaghan deChateauvieux.
