Student Forum with Dr. Eboo Patel

Fisher students are invited to a discussion with Dr. Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith America, the leading interfaith organization in the United States.

Date: Wednesday, January 17, 2024
Time: 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Location: Wilson Formal Lounge, Haffey Hall

Patel is visiting campus to deliver a lecture as part of St. John Fisher University’s Spirit of Identity Week.

Named “one of America’s best leaders” by U.S. News and World Report, Patel is a civic leader who believes that religious diversity is an essential and inspiring dimension of American democracy. Under his leadership, Interfaith America has worked with governments, universities, private companies, and civic organizations to make faith a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division.

Patel’s talk, “We Need to Build: Field Notes for Diverse Democracy,” draws on his new book of the same title.
