A Certified Public Accountant, Dr. Lambert is a valuation expert who has experience giving expert testimony in the New York Court system and to arbitration panels. He has also served as an expert for privately-held/family-owned businesses in matters of succession planning, estate planning and taxes and valuation of privately-held equity investments. He is well-versed in the accounting information used by businesses, investors, and lenders.

A visiting professor for accounting and Family Business Initiative faculty fellow, Lambert has taught introductory accounting courses, career planning, accounting information systems, and auditing at the undergraduate level and more advanced coursework on valuation in the MBA program.

His research interests include complex accounting estimates such as goodwill and auditor mindsets, as well as succession and continuity planning for family business entities.
