Countdown to Commencement

Each year, Fisher recognizes members of the graduating class in the “Countdown to Commencement” series where rising graduates are nominated by faculty and staff for the impact they have made on the campus community.

Brooke Chase

From being a leader in the University’s Student Government Association (including serving as president for two years), interning with the Office of Institutional Advancement, and being an exemplary student in the School of Business, Brooke Chase has found many opportunities here at Fisher to take the next step in her professional journey.

Hailey Gunther

After transferring to Fisher, Hailey Gunther connected with faculty members and peers who motivated her to take on leadership roles in the School of Business and make her mark at the University.

Shawni Hagan

Psychology major Shawni Hagan has accomplished a lot at Fisher, including serving as a residential assistant and president of Fisher Feminist Alliance, being an advocate for her peers, and so much more! After an impactful study abroad experience in Kyoto, Japan, she’s planning her next adventure.

Jason Weng

“Own your story.” For Jason Weng, taking on a journey at Fisher has meant stepping into leadership roles, leaping to success as a student-athlete, and making strides into a career he’s lined up post-graduation.

Lily Gottstine

For Lily Gottstine, music and biology were the two more important things she wanted in a University experience. She found both at Fisher and has gone on to make an impact in the lives of many students, as a leader in music ministry and Drastic Measures, as well as a learning assistant and tutor.

Vincenzo Perfetti

Service is a core pillar for Vincenzo Perfetti in all he does, and Fisher helped unlock new ways to give back to the campus community — and beyond!

Brett Seaman

During his time at Fisher, Brett Seaman has made an impact as a captain for Fisher men’s lacrosse and in the chemistry labs. And that impact is already making a difference in the academic world and in local medicine.
