Amanda Glann is a proud Fisher alumna and dedicated higher education fundraiser who currently serves as director of the Fisher Fund at St. John Fisher University. In this role, she leads the University’s annual and leadership giving efforts, with a strong focus on supporting student success through initiatives like I Heart Fisher Giving Day and the Spire Society. Amanda is passionate about building a culture of philanthropy that empowers students, celebrates community, and advances academic opportunity. Under her leadership, Fisher has surpassed fundraising goals, grown faculty and staff engagement, and expanded support for scholarships and student-focused programs.

She brings a collaborative spirit and data-informed approach to her work, along with expertise in emerging fundraising technologies such as Givezy, Version2.ai, and Gravyty. Amanda takes pride in connecting alumni, families, and friends with meaningful ways to make a difference in students’ lives, while fostering cross-campus partnerships. Amanda earned her B.A. in Communication/Journalism from Fisher and recently completed her M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. She also volunteers with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and chairs the annual regional conference. At the heart of her work is a deep belief in the power of education—and the people who make it possible.
