At our Wegmans School of Pharmacy, we make student-centered teaching a priority, promoting excellence in the classroom. Our graduates consistently outperform their peers in licensing examinations and residency placements. With a multitude of partnerships with major health systems throughout the U.S., we facilitate unique placement opportunities for students.
One Program, Two Pathways
Offered online or on campus, our Pharm.D. program equips you with clinical and drug administration skills while emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and diversity. You'll be ready to practice in virtually any professional setting.
Our four-year, full-time program offers a first-class pharmacy education with practice-oriented instruction and a strong foundation in the sciences. Students take courses in the pharmaceutical sciences, develop their clinical skills through didactic and group-based coursework, and learn the administrative aspects of pharmacy and health care while emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and diversity.
Choose How You'll Learn
Whether you're joining us on campus or online, you will gain the necessary skills to work in any professional pharmacy setting through:
Courses encompassing both didactic and experiential learning
Experiential learning that accounts for more than 30% of the curriculum
Patient-centered work through on-campus immersions and 2,000 hours of clinical rotations at pharmacy locations in their communities
Service opportunities both locally and globally with underserved communities
Fisher Pharm.D. Online offers the same rigorous curriculum as the on-campus pathway without requiring you to relocate.
Cumulative and science GPAs of 2.75 are considered minimally competitive. However, most students accepted to the program have performed at a much higher level. Please review the pre-professional education requirements for your program pathway.
