09/09/2026 - St. John Fisher University is launching Cardinal Connections: A St. John Fisher University Community, a new LinkedIn Group designed to bring together students, alumni, faculty, and staff for professional networking and career-focused conversations.
09/08/2026 - Fisher Dining spent the summer working to continue to elevate the student dining experience on campus. From new menus, new locations, and a new meal swipe exchange, students will be fueled to take on this new academic year.
09/08/2026 - The sun was shining, the students were smiling, and the refrigerators were plentiful. This Labor Day weekend, St. John Fisher University welcomed its newest students to campus for move-in day and Orientation.
09/03/2026 - This summer, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy welcomed a new PGY-2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy resident to its year-long residency program and a new fellow to its 2-year Public Health Pharmacy Fellowship Program.
09/01/2026 - St. John Fisher University will once again serve as a higher education sponsor for the Rochester Fringe Festival, which brings more than 700 performances to dozens of venues in downtown Rochester each September.
08/31/2026 - St. John Fisher University’s Fisher Dining Services has maintained the No. 1 spot as the Best College Food in New York For the ninth consecutive year, according to Niche.com’s 2027 rankings. Fisher’s residence halls also stayed among the top three Best College Dorms in New York clinching the No. 3 spot in the state.
08/26/2026 - Since 2017, Dr. Amy Parkhill, associate professor of pharmacy, has traveled to Guatemala with pharmacy and nursing students completing eight service trips in partnership with Hope 4 Kids International.
08/24/2026 - Father John Huber, CSB ’85 has been elected the next Superior General of the Congregation of St. Basil, while fellow Fisher alumnus Fr. Paul English, CSB ’76, was elected Fourth Councilor.
08/19/2026 - St. John Fisher University is among the 149 best colleges in the Northeast according to The Princeton Review.
08/18/2026 - St. John Fisher University has been recognized among Money.com’s “Best Colleges in America.”
