Laurie Valentino is the Associate Director for Career Services and rejoined the University in 2025. In her role, she partners across the University to embed career readiness into the curriculum, collaborates with employers to align student preparation with workforce needs, and guides early talent as they clarify values, explore options, and connect their academic experience to purposeful next steps.
Laurie brings prior experience as a human resources consultant, with strengths in talent acquisition, onboarding, and project management. Her earlier work at St. John Fisher University and other higher education institutions includes progressive leadership in Career Services, managing a for-credit internship program, serving as an adjunct instructor, co-curricular advisor, and first-year advisor, and participating in several campus-wide committees.
