Corey Jackson is a native of Rochester, New York. Corey graduated from Nazareth College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2015. After completing his undergraduate degree, Corey worked as a Registered Nurse in Acute Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital. Throughout his time as a nurse, he worked toward his Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from D’Youville College. After graduating in 2018, Corey became a Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner. Throughout his time here, Corey completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from University at Buffalo in 2020. After completing his doctorate program, Dr. Jackson began his career in higher education and opened a primary care office focusing on the underserved populations in Rochester. His professional interests include higher education, administration and addressing health disparities that affect diverse patient populations. Corey volunteers to organize an annual health fair at a local Baptist Church here in Rochester and owns a real estate investment company.
