Bio

Sarachan's research explores the digital environment—from the use of virtual worlds in the classroom to parental limitations of screen time to Doctor Who fans and social media.

His work has been published in a several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Gaming and Virtual Worlds, the Journal of Interactive Learning Research, and the Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, and he can comment on technology, pedagogy, and teaching, including techniques for teaching coding to K-16 students.

Sarachan has also been invited to present at numerous conferences, speaking on topics including self-representation on Facebook and virtual worlds and young children, among others.
