Bio

In her current role as assistant vice president for digital learning, Katie Sabourin provides vision and leadership for digital learning and academic innovation that strategically differentiates St. John Fisher University from competitors both locally and nationally. She oversees the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence, which provides the Fisher community with collaborative leadership for the design and delivery of innovative teaching and learning activities across campus. The Center supports the University in three main areas: the effective use of educational technologies, pedagogical consultation, and support for the design and delivery of learning across modalities.

Sabourin has led workshops and conference sessions on AI, technology in higher education, and teaching and learning. She has also been featured in the Rochester Business Journal, WXXI’s “Connections with Evan Dawson,” and 13WHAM News related to AI in the classroom.
