Bio

Ricky Price holds a doctoral degree in politics from the New School for Social Research in New York City. His work integrates the politics of identity, institutions, and science to understand how power operates between our bodies and the state. He specializes in new institutionalism, science and technology studies, and feminist and queer theory. He serves on the organizing committee of the Ann Snitow Prize, and he is also a member of the Climate Social Science Network. 

He has published on HIV/AIDS, health policy, and environmental policy. Price has also provided expert commentary for Rochester print, TV, and radio media outlets on local, state, and federal elections.
