Lynne Feldman Brings Her Work to Campus Gallery

Local artist Lynne Feldman is displaying her exhibit, “Collages Two Ways,” at the Patricia O’Keefe Ross Gallery located in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center at St. John Fisher College.

The exhibit runs from September to October. An opening reception for the show is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

Feldman grew up on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and attended the famous High School of Music and Art. She is a graduate of New York University and holds a master’s degree in art education from Columbia University.

Her formal art training began at the age of 12 at the Art Students League, where she studied drawing and painting for the next 15 years. Her paintings, prints, collages, and illustrations have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and public spaces throughout the country. Feldman lives in Rochester and keeps a studio in the Anderson Alley Building. You can visit her studio on First Fridays, as a part of the Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s monthly citywide gallery night, held the first Friday of each month, and by appointment.
