The project involved students in McClure Brenchley’s health psychology course who led workshops on stress and coping for expectant and new adolescent mothers in a local shelter. The project won an award from the Social Psychology Network.

The APA Monitor story, Changing the World from the Classroom, highlighted a number of projects from colleges and universities around the country that both teach students about psychology and impact the world around them.
